Is the purpose of affirmative action being served if individuals of African heritage with predominantly American roots benefit only minimally? Contrast the perception of Who Benefits from Affirmative action with the reality. Why or why not?

   Affirmative action was enacted to get minorities off the unemployment lines.

   The only minimum benefit you get is if you don’t get your **** out the door to take advantage of it.

   Mostly white women have benefited but the idea is to generate inclusiveness so the basic concept should not be abandoned.

   white women benefit from affirmative action more than any other group
