My girlfriend and I have been dating for a year. We are soulmates and we both feel this way. There is only one complication, I have never met her parents because I am mixed with african american, and they feel that blacks are useless and are no good. Will this ever change?

   You know I learned if you trully love some one no matter what then be with that person. Meet her parents ans try to talk to them. you never know what will happen. Unless you try and if you and your girl don’t care about the outcome. Then just be happy together.

   if you both are truly in love it wont matter what either of your parents think it just matter you love her and she loves you and sorry but most likely they wont change usually if some one is raciest they were brought up that way but remember you aren’t dating her parents you’re dating her so don’t let them not liking you bug you ^.^

   They can’t **** you if they don’ know you. Of course, if you fit a particular stereotype very well, they are entitled to an initial opinion. Its up to you to show it does not fit you.

   Will they change ? If you conduct yourself in a manner they dislike, probably not.

   If you want them to like you, think about first making a good first impression. If it requires not dressing like either a gang member, skate boarder, or other teen bad habit they dislike, then do that. Present yourself as if it was a job interview, and they are the ones who would hire you. Dress appropriate. It says you respect them.

   Then you have the opportunity to discuss other things and make a good impression on them, if you can.

   u never met them …well how do u know if thy don’t like u?
   u have 2 meet them …just be respectful. don’t act ghetto..then it will change. u got to represent or change there minds…yo
