Skin colour is determined by multiple genes, therefore it is hard to predict what the outcome will be..

my sister and brother both ended up white with an African American/Caucasian mom and Caucasian dad.

Could be any shade between the two parents. Could be as dark as the father or lighter. Could have blue eyes if they run in both sides of the family.

depends upon the dominant gene. To find dominant gene the the punnent square

You really won’t be able to tell. There are MANY different factors that play into skin color. It isnt as easy as a punnet square, there’s too much involved.

Total guess. Draw a Prunett square with about twenty different genes and figure it out.

It could be any colour from ebony black to snow white.See the link below for an extreme example.

Skin colour genetics is not simple recessive/dominant. It is a very complex trait based on at least 8 genes on 5 different chromosomes. As a result it is perfectly possible for children to be considerably darker or lighter than either parent.

Being “mixed heritage” makes no difference whatsoever. All humans are of mixed heritage and always have been. There isn’t some hypothetical pure human heritage that has only one skin colour present.
