I agree people shouldnt take things so seriously but I accept her opinion. The funny thing is Im natural too..lol. I get my hair straightened because it’s thick & difficult to manage but I cant do relaxers because my scalp is too sensitive. Sevaah when you posted this I bet you never thought you’d get this much discussion.

glad VW sent me the link to this page. If people want to educate others then do so why so hostile. Voice of the Wounded dont debate with people looking for an arguement. Girl just laugh it off.
By the way SEVAAH I love your hair.

U know what you left your comment and you sent me a message so I see you felt deeply on this issue. I apologize if I offended u if are still upset there is nothing more I can do so I’m gonna leave it at that. I know what I was trying to say & u have a right to disagree. My friends & I joke around about “acting white to each other” but there is no **** involved. However, if u dont believe that there is not much I can do about it. But 4 the rcord I meant no harm.

What do you mean by “they are the most white people I’ve ever known?” Is it because they don’t talk, act, or dress ghetto? I mean I wear my hair naturally and I don’t act ghetto or talk ghetto. Neither do I dress ghetto. But I must be white-washed right? Please. I know what I am AND IT’S NOT WHITE. Your comment pisses me off because it seems like what you are basically trying to say is that we all have to act a certain way or talk a certain way in order to appeal as a black person.

  15. SEVAAH on November 2nd, 2008 11:45 pm

    exactly lol

  16. VoiceOfTheWounded on November 6th, 2008 3:26 am

You are right. It is about hair management because honestly I know ****** who are all natural and they are the most white people Ive ever known…lol. Meanwhile the ones I know with relaxers are black to the fullest. I dont think anyone should judge a person based on whether they relax their hair or not. Just an opinion.

  17. MUSTSEEVID on November 9th, 2008 1:24 pm

you made a good point its basically about management of the hair.

  18. KellWoo10 on November 12th, 2008 3:00 am

I never even thought of that and I use African Pride. It does seem a little backwards
