I gainded custody of my little cousin. She is half black and half white. Im half Sioux and half white.

I grew up knowing about both of my hertages. and I still love learning new facts. But my little cousin started her life being raised by raceist people. Why they would choose to raise her when they were so narrow minded, I dont know. She knows nothing of her Aferican roots. I want to change this, but dont know where to start.
